How can we help those who are suffering? Our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world, who have challenges different than our own, are connected in spirit to us as we hear of their struggles, hold their trials close to our hearts and lift them up in prayer to God.

Our dear friends in Cuba have recently passed through a difficult time. This year Hurricane Milton and Rafael have ravaged the island destroying homes and lengthening food supply lines. A nationwide power blackout, lasting over four days caused suffering and despair. Plus constant roiling power outages shut down most activities across the country, like work.

Our Christian brothers and sisters have been the light for Christ in their communities during this difficult time. They have diligently struggled to meet the daily needs of their friends, neighbors, and the larger community spiritually and physically. They have tried to serve a daily breakfast for those in need along with the encouragement and spiritual nourishment that people hunger for.

But without electricity, there is no breakfast, no water being pumped, no recharging of smartphones, no classes at the Bible Institute in Havana...
Thank God they reached out to us and we have been able to respond to their requests for generators. And now several key strategic churches in Havana have been able to purchase generators to be a beacon of light in their communities.

Whether it's helping out with generators or a roof collapse and wall damage caused by the latest hurricane we want the Cuban churches and our La Voz Alegre, The Happy Voice production team to feel the love of Christ.
