What's Going On? April 2023

To accelerate our content by engaging new talent from Cuba, Jose Castillo Jr., is expanding the reach of our spiritual messages.

Jose shares the following article: New Spanish programs have been added to our ever-increasing archives of audio and video files, and are being gradually added to the vault to be used in our one-hour radio program. Those audio files have other uses. We convert them to mp4 (video) files in order to be broadcaster in social media outlets. Right now, we are broadcasting our one-hour program every day through Facebook, and our shorter programs twice a week through Facebook and YouTube.

We really appreciate the collaboration from Jesús Blanco and the Faithful Word Ministry in Cuba for making available their professional quality short programs. In the month of February, I have been editing two of their series for our use.

One of them is Youth, Divine Treasure, which intends to answer questions and concerns that are common to teenagers in Latin America, using biblical principles. The program is a group of Christian teens, directed by Jesús, discussing those different topics in a very positive and conversational manner, using the Scriptures as the basis for their affirmations. The illustrations and examples they use show the practical aspect of their presentation and the wisdom of the Christian way. These series are being broadcast once a week on Facebook and YouTube, and will be a part of our La Voz Alegre one-hour broadcast started the week of March 13.

The other series is entitled Like Jesus, (Como Jesús). The thesis of these programs is that all of us can aspire to be like Jesus. It shows Jesus as the model and then discusses how we can start to follow in Jesus’ footsteps, and grow in His likeness.
