When our radio production team was contacted by the Cuban government for a meeting we wondered, what does this mean?

With many prayers and a sense of anticipation our team entered the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party in San Antonio de Los Baños for the meeting. Yes they had concern in their hearts, but they were also filled with faith and complete trust in God.
 
The conversation began with complements and expressions of appreciation for the radio team's professional quality work. The team was pleasantly surprised as the government official continued to outline the stellar qualities of the team's production work on the La Voz Alegre (The Happy Voice) program.  The representative then announced that the government officials believed that broadcasting the program locally would be a great benefit for the Cuban people in their daily lives.

What happened next? More Amazing Good News:
A document to officially approve this project was signed by Leticia Perdomo, Head of the Department of Communication and Religious Affairs of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in San Antonio de los Baños. (As seen in the image above with one of our team members).

The document states: “The department of religious affairs of the communist party in Cuba, in order to promote religious freedom and inter-religious dialogue in our country, has analyzed the request for the production and transmission of the program La Voz Alegre and is pleased to communicate its approval.”
Also, permission was given to use the radio studio of the government's radio station, Radio Ariguanabo, to record La Voz Alegre in while we built our own studio. And now, the team is producing the half-hour version of our program from the government radio station. Praise God!

Finally, we received the news that our half-hour radio programs will be broadcast by Radio Ariguanabo, the state-sponsored radio station in San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba, beginning March 2025. It will air on a weekly basis free of charge. What a blessing!

God is doing great things through my partner Jose Castillo Jr. who is our Sr. Producer.  His communication style and mentoring of our production team is being blessed by God. As Jose says, “These are things that only God can do! He deserves all the glory."
