What's Going On? June 2022

When distance and time separate us from those whom we love, we go to God in prayer on their behalf.  As we have all been praying for our friends and family, our hearts have also been deeply concerned for our Cuban brothers and sisters in Christ.  They are faced with challenges daily!  We were blessed earlier this year to witness their love and enthusiasm for each other.
 
We rejoice with the lady’s ministry in Havana, Cuba! After more than 2 year hiatus, they were able to gather, fellowship, share a meal together, and to be fed spiritually from God’s Word.

One of our sisters in Havana writes to Brenda:
“Yesterday all the women of the church met togetherand did our activity.  We spent a super nice and blessed time together. I shared your encouraging words with everyone.  We were able to do many initiatives and prayed together for families and the church.  We all shared gifts that were handmade and enjoyed a meal together.
Thank you for keeping us in your mind and heart. We love you very much and pray to God to give us the opportunity to see each other again soon.
May God bless you always and know that I love you very much”.
 
Yes, God answers prayers!  James 5:16 says: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective”.

Just looking at these photos of our sisters united together is a testimony of the power of prayer.  Please continue to pray for all our loved ones in Cuba as they share Jesus with their friends and neighbors.
