What's Going On? July 2023

This past month has been a month of renegotiating radio broadcasting contracts. Yes, sometimes God calls on us to do His business. When He does, His words “I will be with you always” rises in my heart. With Jesus, we step out in faith and ask Him to help us find the best answer for sharing His message to our listeners.

We have been broadcasting La Voz Alegre (The Happy Voice) now for 10 years through Trans World Radio’s 450,000-watt station, Shine800, to Cuba and the Caribbean. This AM signal reaches from Brazil all the way to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.

The Lord opened the door for us to change our weekly radio broadcast time with TWR to Wednesday night at 10:00 which will give us a larger audience reach and cost us less of the Lord’s funds. But, the Lord has done more! As a bonus, TWR has decided to upload our radio program to 318 local affiliate radio stations in 24 Spanish-speaking countries each week. These stations will be encouraged to put La Voz Alegre (The Happy Voice) in their broadcasting lineup.

Yes, we stand amazed! But, why are we always amazed when God adds the increase. “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more that all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!” (Ephesians 3:20,21).

Also, World Christian Broadcasting continues transmitting our radio hour every night across Latin America from their shortwave station, Madagascar World Voice
We are also streaming live every night at 8:00 on Facebook and in our La Voz Alegre App. The Lord continues to add more and more opportunities to share His hope via these broadcasts and social media.

As God has helped reach more souls through the radio waves and digital media, we now ask you to pray daily that He adds the increase in the hearts of our listeners so that they will turn to Jesus and have a hope filled life.
