Todos sabemos que, en los conflictos interpersonales cotidianos, nuestra lengua es el instrumento más valioso que tenemos. Con la lengua podemos proveer sanidad, pero también podemos matar. La lengua puede ayudarnos a ser amables y edificar a los demás, pero también puede permitirnos ser muy groseros y destructivos. Si sabemos controlar la lengua podemos decir con gran confianza que el conflicto se resolverá en beneficio de todas las partes involucradas.

We all know that in daily interpersonal conflicts, our tongue is the most valuable instrument we have. With the tongue we can heal but also we can kill. The tongue can help us be nice and constructive to people, but it can also allow us be very rude and destructive. If we know how to control the tongue we can say with great confidence that the conflict will be resolved to the benefit of all parties involved.
